Around the world or minimal, here are some recipes even snoety can do …

We’re really into Epicurious.com’s online weekly video feature “Around The World in 80 Dishes,” which is a bit reminiscent of another favorite of ours, Mark Bittman’s The Minimalist video features on nytimes.com.  (A great frittata’s up now, but just search for other recipes.) Epicurious offers more complex recipes, but they both use a consistent easy-to-follow and access format. We may not be masters in the kitchen, but with these easy-to-follow videos and the international spin on dinner at home, even we can play master chef for a night.

Click for a whole slew of Epicurious videos ranging from Grand Marnier Souffl©s (France) to Chili Crab (Singapore). Each contains step-by-step instructions on preparing the featured dish with the assistance of a chef from the Culinary Institute of America. The latest? Chef Lynne Gigliotti, from The Culinary Institute of America, demonstrates how to make a recipe for French Provenal Bouillabaisse.

Check out the rest of the recipes here, and happy cooking!
