Here’s a Hamptons event for a great cause… On July 11, our nutrition expert, Stefanie Bryn Sacks, M.S. will be hosting the third annual Breath of the Hamptons to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
Affecting 30,000 children and adults in the U.S., Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that attacks the lungs and digestive system.
“Fifty years ago, few children with CF lived to attend elementary school. Today, because of research and care programs supported by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the median age of survival for a person with CF is 37.”
This year Breath of the Hamptons will be raising money to help find a cure. Come out and help support the cause at this private residence in Bridgehampton, NY, for a casual and fun afternoon/evening for singles, couples and the entire family with great food and music– including children’s activities by the Hampton Country Day Camp. To learn more about the event, cause and to register, visit www.breathofthehamptons.org
With 90% of every dollar of revenue raised going towards research, care and CF education (plus cocktails and a buffet dinner), there’s really every reason to go.
