The question of winter hair has been posted in “Hair” before for our expert Mario Diab to answer. As the weather gets colder and windier, here’s Mario’s updated response …
Winter weather causes dryness, so you need to add more moisture to your scalp. Use a moisturizing gel and massage your scalp and rinse thoroughly. Then add a hair serum. Style your hair as usual.
A little trick for static-y hair: Spray some static guard (found in your local pharmacy) into your hat. Leave it on for a few minutes and watch your hair fall into place.
About hair serum: This is a hair styling product that originates from an oil plant. It is a type of protein that helps hair feel silky smooth It protects and nourishes hair without giving it that weighed down feeling. It’s perfect for all hair types and can be used daily in various ways. It helps to detangle hair, conceal split ends, as well as protect against heat from blow drying. You should apply it to damp hair before styling.
We also like Profound Curl Cream: This keeps curls soft, natural and smooth, and we complete the routine with Profound Beauty Shine Spray. This is an ultra-dry mist with multi-color micro-prisms, that reflect a shimmering light. Good for all hair types, colors and doesn’t weight your hair down.
How to use: Shake well and spray 10 to 12 inches away from hair in short even strokes. Start by applying a small amount and increase as desired. For detailing, spray a small amount on hands and work through hair as desired.
TIP FROM SNOETY: We also use Profound Beauty Curl Cream after we wash our hair and even when our hair is dry (ignore the label directions) on those frizzy humid days. We buy our Profound products direct from Mario, and you can, too.
