Suggest you go see the movie “Charlie Wilson’s War“. We almost didn’t go because the trailer made it seem so “commercial”. But it’s funny — full of wry humor … and it’s depressing (and distressing) to see how far we haven’t come … and it makes you focus on how important it is to elect a President who has a knowledge of history, culture and their implications on foreign policy. Those who’ve read the book say the film doesn’t come close in that it only gives the high points of what really happened.
